This course comprehensively covers the mandatory information stipulated by the regulator to be considered 'regulator approved training'. The course will provide you with an awareness of the dangers of silica dust and the ways in which products containing silica are affected by the ban on engineered stone.
By the end of this course, you’ll understand:
What crystalline silica is
The reasons behind recent legislation changes, including the ban on engineered stone and how it applies
How to determine if materials contain crystalline silica; and
How to stay safe when working with products that contain crystalline silica
